Day 01 : Guwahati-Kaziranga
Arrive at Guwahati airport. Our tour representative will pick up you and take you to Kaziranga. This park is about 230 kms away from Guwahati airport. Reaching Kaziranga take the jungle resort.
The surrounding rugged ambience of the resort will thrill you. Kaziranga National Park is a pride of Assam. There are tea gardens in and around the park. Located on the fertile plain of Brahmaputra valley Kaziranga is home to one horned rhinoceros and various other flora and fauna.
Evening watch the tribal dance program. Savor some ethnic cuisine in dinner. This north east India has a unique cuisine culture different from mainland India.
Day 02 : Kaziranga National Park
Early morning jeep safari in the park. There are various regions of the park for wildlife viewing. You will see surely herds of animals frolicking in the jungles, rivers and streams. See rhinos.
In the late afternoon visit the villages located nearby. Assam is famous for silk production. Muga silk is one of its kinds in the world. Visit the villages to see silk worm rearing. Then bonfire camp dinner at the resort.
Day 03 : Kaziranga National Park
Early morning elephant safari to view wild animals. It is a not to be missed in Kaziranga. Explore some of the hidden regions of the park. Morning and evening safari inside the main regions of the park. A naturalist will guide you. Explore the region along the bank of the River Brahmaputra. The ponds and lakes inside the park are home to a wide variety of reptiles.
Day 04 : Kaziranga-Guwahati-Kolkata
In the early morning drive to Guwahati. Reaching visit some attractions of the city, like Sankerdev Kalakhetra, Basistha Ashram, Kamakhya temple (if time permits). Then drive to the airport and take the flight to Kolkata. On arrival take the hotel.
Day 05 : Kolkata-Sundarban National Park
After breakfast, our tour representative will transfer you to the Sonakhali jetty. It will take 3 hours to reach the jetty. Check in at a boat for river cruise. Our naturalist will tell you so many myths and mysteries about Sundarban. As you cruise down you will see so many birds. On reaching the jungle camp (Bali Island) check in. Have lunch. Then you will be taken to see the Mangrove Interpretation Center and return via Sudhyanakhali watchtower. Evening enjoy the beauty of the rugged landscape. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 06 : Sundarban National Park
The full day is for boat cruise. You might spot swimming tigers. You will see surely Estuarine Crocodiles and the elusive Irrawady Dolphins. Cruise down till sunset. Then disembark and take rest. Cultural program at the camp.
Day 07 : Sundarban National Park-Calcutta
Visit the Bali village and see the villagers engaged in fishing, weaving, and boat making. Enjoy country boat cruise. Post lunch, our representative will take you to Kolkata.
