Day 01 : Arrive at Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport you will be received by our tour representative and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening enjoy the Light and Sound Show Programme at Red Fort. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 02 : Delhi–Srinagar
On the second day of Mountain Fishing Tour, take the flight to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir State. On arrival you would be transferred to Dal Lake where you would be accommodated in a houseboat. Srinagar visit is virtually incomplete if you miss a houseboat stay on Dal Lake. You get all the modern amenities, a living room, dining room, a veranda and all kinds of services. Have dinner and stay overnight on the floating houseboat.
Day 03 : Srinagar
Shikara ride in Dal Lake is not to be missed. The Shikaras are long boats like the Gondala. Embark on a ride and explore the beauty of Dal Lake. Then return back to the houseboat and have lunch. Post lunch, tour the Nishat and Shalimar Mughal gardens built by the Mughals. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 04 : Srinagar- Sonamarg (84 kms/03 hrs)
After having breakfast, check out the houseboat and drive to Sonamarg known as the meadow of God. Enroute you will cross the scenic villages located along the River Sindh. On arrival, check in at the fishing camp. Here you will camp for 3 nights for fishing. Afternoon fish in River Sindh (Indus). Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 05 - 06 : Sonamarg (Two days for fishing)
Two days are reserved for your angling on the river Sindh. The Sindh River flows through Sonamarg and here a good number of trout and mahseer fish are found. So, try your best to have the fun of trout and mahseer fishing. The expert anglers will guide you how to try best to have a wild fishing experience.
Evening walk past the serene environ or rest at the camp. There are also various trekking paths at Sonamarg, if you are a trekking buff you can try it.
Day 07 : Sonamarg-Srinagar
Till afternoon leisure at the camp. Then drive back to Srinagar and check in at a houseboat again.
Day 08 : Srinagar
Till evening take rest on board the houseboat. You avail all the modern facilities on board for a leisure experience. Evening embark on a Shikara ride through the backwaters. Enjoy the dream ride. Stay overnight on the houseboat.
Day 09: Srinagar
On the 9th day of fishing tour to India, drive to Gulmarg for a full day sightseeing. The cable car service, known as Gondala is renowned for the tourists. This service carries the passengers across more than four or five kms of snow riding terrain. You can also enjoy a horse ride. Afternoon drive back to the houseboat.
Day 10 : Srinagar
After breakfast, visit the Shankaracharya Temple and Kashmir museum. Afternoon visit Jesus Christ Tomb & Jamia Masjid. Also explore the city more. Overnight stay on board the houseboat.
Day 11 : Srinagar- Delhi–Departure
After experiencing a mountain fishing tour, you will return back home. In the morning take the flight to Delhi and then board your onward flight back home.
