Day 01 : Arrive Mumbai / Delhi
After reaching at Delhi/Mumbai airport, Divino Indian Memoirz representative would transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You will relax at the hotel and retire early for the night to regain your energies for embarking on the Cultural Kerala tour tomorrow. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Mumbai / Delhi - Thiruvananthapuram – Kovalam
In the morning, you will be taken to the airport for catching a flight to Thiruvananthapuram. It is your 1st destination of your Kerala tour. From Thiruvananthapuram, you will drive to Kovalam. On reaching there, you will check into hotel. It is a land of fantastic beaches, water sports and palm groves. There are various activities you can enjoy like surfing, scuba-diving, swimming, etc. You will spend the day exploring the golden beaches of Kovalam. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Kovalam
In the morning, you will spend the 1st half of the day at leisure in your hotel or enjoying the scenic views strolling along the beaches. In the 2nd half of the day, you will go to Kanyakumari. It is fantastic destination of your Cultural Kerala tours. Go over to Padmanabhapuram Palace. It is a splendid building. Afterwards, you will be spell-bound seeing the amazing spectacle of sunset/moonrise across the Indian Ocean. After an exciting day of sightseeing, you would come back to Kovalam in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Kovalam
After having your breakfast, you will drive to Trivandrum. You will visit various attractions having cultural value. Such attractions would include Shri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Chitralayam Art Gallery, Zoological Gardens, Reptile House Observatory, Napier Museum and the Kanakakannu Palace. After enjoying various attractions, you will get back to the hotel. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Kovalam – Quilon or Kollam
On the 5th day of your Cultural Kerala tour, you will drive to Quilon or Kollam. This city has been the centre of spice trade during the medieval times. You will also visit the various sites of historical ruins like those of temples done in flamboyant styles. Visit nearby villages. On interacting with the villagers, you will know the many dimensions of Kerala culture. The place is also famous for cashew nuts and delectable local cuisines. You stay at hotel in Quilon for the night.
Day 06 - 07 : Quilon – Alleppey
After having your breakfast, you will embark on the most exciting part of the cultural Kerala tours. It is the ride abroad the fabulous Kerala houseboats. It is an exciting way to experience the essential colors of Kerala. This magnificent journey continues till you reach at Alleppey the next morning. After having breakfast, you will visit the various sights of Alleppey. It is endowed with breath-taking natural beauty. You can shop at the chaotic local markets full of local colors and sounds. Afterwards, you will spend the night at the houseboat.
Day 08 : Alleppey - Periyar
In the morning, you will embark on a drive to Periyar National Park. You will reach there by noon. You will check into a resort around the Park. After having your lunch, you will go on a thrilling safari. Also visit the various coffee plantations and surrounding villages. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Periyar
After having your breakfast, you will go on a boat ride on the Periyar Lake. During the boat-ride, you will enjoy the extensive wildlife in the Park. Amongst the animals, you would see animals like Langur monkeys, wild dogs, sambars, elephants, wild boars, etc. After having your lunch, you can again go for boat ride on the lake. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Periyar - Munnar
After having your breakfast, you will drive to Munnar. It is a very famous hill station in Kerala. You will love the low hanging clouds, the verdant forest cover, wonderful waterfalls and scenic natural surroundings all over. While you are in Munnar, you would enjoy the pristine air and environs. You can spend the rest of the day walking through the tree-lined streets or just stay put in your room. You will spend the night at a hotel in Munnar.
Day 11 : Munnar
In the morning, you will again visit the various attractions of the scenic Kerala Hill station. The magnificent natural beauty will really release you from all mundane worries. You will learn that every day in is wonderful, unique and full of self-expression. Nature is always accomplishing its goals yet never suffers from anxiety and worries. Above all, it is a source of such soothing relaxation. You would see the magnificent tea gardens, the picturesque valleys, and such congenial surroundings. Day 12 : Munnar - Cochin
In the morning, you will drive to Kochi. You would reach Kochi during the noon. Check into a hotel and relax for a while. After having your lunch, you will go out for shopping. At the local markets, you can buy various souvenirs, curios and local handicrafts. In the evening, you will go on a majestic boat-cruise which enables you to see the famous Kochi sun set. You will visit the various sites showcasing the rich heritage of Kerala. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Kochi - Mumbai – Departure
It is the last day of your wonderful Cultural Kerala tour. After having your breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kochi airport to catch your flight to Mumbai to Delhi and then connecting flight onto your destination.
